A project by Greenpeace, the non-governmental organisation that focusses on envionmental issues all over the world and Jane Fonda, launched Fire Drill Fridays, inspired by Greta Thunberg and the youth climate strikes that took place every week on a Friday (also known as Fridays for Future or the Youth Strike for Climate).

Jane Fonda moved closer to Washington to be closer to where the big decisions are made, and organised Fire Drill Fridays, climate change demonstrations to highight the importance of addressing what is the arguably the worst crisis of our time.

They've continued throughout 2020 and throughout America and have now formed several big soical gathering in the movement.

You never know what's going to take off, what isn't, and what is going to stick. No one knew that a young girl called Greta Thunberg striking about climate change would've gained the awareness to the movement that it had. Equally, another child could've been doing this somewhere and not got the same attention.

You never know what can be achieved through a small effort, or an action by yourself. Our house is burning but together we can put it out.
